Hi My name is Mitchell :)

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play your favourite songs on the violin, I can help teach you with my private 1 on 1 classes!


About Me:

I started playing the violin since I was around 7 years old. I completed my Grade 8 Trinity examination back in New Zealand and moved over to Sydney last year. Currently I am working as a dance teacher in Sydney but wish to help teach violin to beginners.


When I started learning I began with the Suzuki method completing the first 3 books before moving onto Grade examinations. I do believe the Suzuki method is a great way to learn if you wish to learn the classical method of violin.


I have taught violin to students in NZ. In regards to some of my experience I was part of my Intermediate and Highschool school orchestra and String Quartet at Auckland Grammar Boys School as a 1st Violin. I have also performed with the violin during various different Kpop competitions.


What benefits can I offer to my students?

- 1 on 1 Private Classes

- Teach you the Classical method of Violin to beginners

- Teach basic sight reading theory so you can read music

- Teach you important violin techniques e.g how to hold the bow, posture of your hand, vibrato

- I can teach you almost any song if you wish to play for FUN as I can play music by ear

(I can write out the music for you to play)
